The CSSIP105 is a serial-to-parallel converter that enables parallel transmission (in binary or Gray code) of an SSi absolute encoder; the display allows for quick diagnostics of proper operation (display of the input signal, the associated physical scale, and the status of the outputs).

and 2 relay outputs
DESCRIPTION:
The SSi interface consists of 2 pairs of wires:
one pair for transmitting the master’s clock signals
and the other pair for transmitting data from the slave (encoder).
the number of clock pulses depends on the number of data bits
to be transmitted.
A third pair of wires optionally provides power to the encoder.
